Meet the Executive Board:
Rayne Sullivan – Chairman
Rayne is a third year student pursuing a degree in Government, a certificate in Asian Studies and minor in Mandarin Chinese. After graduation, Rayne hopes to pursue a career in international trade law and diplomacy. Within the academic realm, he is interested in the rule of law in China and the effects of Asian investment on African and Caribbean political development. In his free time, Rayne enjoys scuba diving, watching The Americans and reading political biographies.
Frank Faverzani-Chief Operations Officer
Frank is a first-year SFS undergraduate pursuing a concentration in International Politics with focus on Security Studies and Arabic. Outside of the Caravel, he is a member of the Georgetown Club Squash Team. Originally from Ocean City, New Jersey, Frank is an avid coffee drinker, Netflix binger, and guacamole enthusiast.
Maxi Wittig – Chief of Logistics and Personnel
Maxi is a freshman in the School of Foreign Service soon to declare his major in culture and politics. He grew up in Lebanon, Cyprus and his homeland Germany, but recently immigrated to the U.S. six years ago. A graduate of the nearby St. Albans high school he’s very excited to be joining the staff of the Caravel this semester and furthering political discourse on campus.
Bryce Couch – Executive Director of Media
Bryce is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service. He is studying International Politics and hopes to pursue a career in international law. Spending time exploring Buenos Aires and the Argentinian countryside sparked his interest in Latin America’s culture, and he specifically focuses on the effects of counter-terrorism and drug trafficking. Bryce is also involved in The Caravel’s Newsletter Division and the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs. In his free time, Bryce is an Olympic enthusiast, Netflix-oholic, graphic designer, and avid consumer of memes.
Lousia Christen – Executive Director of Strategy
Louisa is a sophomore in the SFS pursuing a major in International Politics and a certificate in Latin American Studies. She was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan and attended an international school for 10 years, where a Colombian teacher ignited in her a fiery passion for Latin America. She enjoys literature classics of the 19th and early 20th century and has an obsession with flowers and deep house music.
Francesca Ractliffe – Chief of Technology and Marketing
Francesca was born and grew up in France, later going to school in Italy before enrolling at Georgetown. She is currently a freshman German major in the college however hopes to expand her studies to encompass the relationship of Philosophy to Government. In her free time, she plays tennis and is co-editor of the Western Europe section in the Caravel newspaper on campus.
